    Melsun ("we", "us", or "our") operates the melsun.ai platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and AI applications.

    Information we collect

    • Account information such as your email address and authentication details.
    • Content you submit, including chat prompts, generated outputs, uploaded files, and Trade Desk shipment data (contracts, shipping instructions, bills of lading, artwork, and related trade documents).
    • Usage data including app interactions, feature usage, and error diagnostics.
    • Payment and billing information processed by our payment providers.
    • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information.

    Trade and business documents

    If you use Trade Desk or similar features, you may upload documents that contain commercial, personal, or sensitive business information (for example party names, addresses, contract terms, and shipment details). We process this data only to provide the features you request, such as document review, chat assistance, and template generation.

    Do not upload documents you are not authorized to share, or content that violates applicable export-control, sanctions, or confidentiality obligations. You are responsible for redacting or avoiding unnecessary sensitive data where possible.

    How we use information

    • Provide, operate, and improve the Melsun platform.
    • Process transactions and manage subscriptions or credits.
    • Run AI inference and document analysis you initiate.
    • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
    • Monitor security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

    We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your Trade Desk documents to train public foundation models unless a feature explicitly states otherwise and you opt in.

    AI and subprocessors

    We use trusted third-party providers to operate the service. A list of common subprocessors is in our Subprocessors page. Depending on the features you use, data may be processed by providers such as:

    • Hosting and infrastructure (for example Vercel)
    • Database and authentication services
    • Object storage for uploaded and generated files
    • AI model providers for chat, vision, voice, image, and video features
    • Payment processors (for example Stripe or Lemon Squeezy)
    • Email delivery for account and transactional messages
    • Analytics and error monitoring (for example PostHog or Sentry, when enabled)

    These providers process data according to their privacy policies and our agreements with them. AI providers may temporarily process prompts and file excerpts to generate responses you request.

    International transfers

    We and our subprocessors may process data in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. By using the service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.

    Data retention

    We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may delete individual shipments or documents within Trade Desk where the product provides delete controls. Account deletion requests remove or anonymize associated personal data subject to legal retention requirements.

    Security

    We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the service at your own risk.

    Legal requests

    We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or lawful government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

    Your rights

    Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to submit a privacy request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

    Children

    The service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
